Tiger Shroff’s next Upcoming action thriller Movie ‘Ganapath’

The futuristic action film 'Ganapath' will be directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Jackky Bhagnan. Movie lead Actor is Tiger Shroff.

“War” star Tiger Shroff is set to feature in “Ganapath”, a futuristic action film, the makers announced on Thursday.

The action-packed thriller will be directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Jackky Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment in association with Good Co.

 

Shroff, best known for his breathtaking action sequences on screen, said he is looking forward to working on the film.

“After multiple conversations with Vikas and Jackky, the script and scale look promising. This will be my first time working with Jackky and Vikas and it is exciting to collaborate with them,” the actor said in a statement. 

 

 

Bhagnani said he is excited to collaborate with Shroff.

“He has all the potential and every ingredient that makes him unique and sets him apart. His films have slick action with an international flavour that appeals to audiences all over the world. I am sure the combination of Vikas and Tiger will make magic and redefine the action genre,” he added.

The film will be set in a post-pandemic, dystopian era and Bahl said it will be challenging to pull off the scale of the film set in future.

The makers on Thursday also launched the teaser motion poster of “Ganapath“.

The shoot will begin from mid 2021 and will release in 2022.

"Akshay, along with actress Kriti, director Farhad Samji and the rest of the unit will fly to Jaisalmer on a charter (plane) for a marathon schedule of over two months, during which they will be shooting in real locations. Last month, the production team secured all the permissions and has taken care of all the government guidelines and locked the shooting locations," said a source close to the makers. 

The entire team will be staying at Suryagarh Hotel together, and some indoor sequences will be shot at the luxurious hotel. There are some elaborate action scenes for which teams from across the country will join the crew.

The filmmaker has also formed a special team, including doctors from Mumbai, to ensure that all Covid safety protocols are enforced on the set.

"The team will undergo an extensive workshop on all SOPs issues by the government to ensure a 'no-contact set' to be created. The entire cast and crew will undergo a mandatory Covid test around December end and the crew will be quarantined for three days before the shoot. Two doctors will fly with the crew from Mumbai to Jaisalmer and will be stationed at the shooting location. Special medical rooms will be set up in Jaisalmer and each and every location will be sanitised a day prior to the shoot," added the source.

In the film, Akshay's play Gangster and Kriti a journalist.

Netflix just Release the trailer of The Midnight Sky directed by and starring George Clooney. After The Oscar Winning movie Solaris and Gravity next movie "The Midnight Sky" based on space, Sci-fi, Adventure . Based on Lily Brooks-Dalton's novel 'Good Morning, Midnight' the film promises an exhilarating story of humanity's survival.

The Midnight Sky's trailer begins with scientist Augustine (Clooney with his amazing beard) testing comms, trying to contact astronauts in space from an observatory in the Arctic. While he gets no response, on the other side, astronauts are trying and failing to make contact with Earth. In a voice-over, he explains that the spaceship 'Ether' needs to be warned about the conditions on Earth. The planet has been rendered inhospitable leaving the air toxic (we see them wearing masks). Augustine journeys through the expanse of the arctic in search of a better shot at reaching out to space.

As per the official synopsis, this post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe. The film also casts David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone in major roles.

Clooney's directorial ventures like The Monuments Men and Suburbicon weren't big hits but his last stint as an actor, director and producer was on Hulu's Catch-22 and that garnered considerable praise. The Midnight Sky sees Clooney return to the director's chair and back in familiar post-apocalyptic settings so the hopes are as strong as the comparisons with this title.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Elnaaz Norouzi reunite for Jaideep Chopra’s Sangeen
